How it works
A Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) invests a fixed amount every month, for example in a mutual fund, the stock market or National Savings. The calculator adds each month’s investment at the end of the month and grows the balance at the expected yearly return, compounded monthly.
Goal mode works backwards: it finds the level monthly amount that, with what you have already invested, reaches the target in the chosen period.
Returns from markets are never guaranteed; past returns of a fund do not promise future ones. Try a lower return to see a cautious case.
